Kiln Glass

All of these pieces were created in a kiln out of cut sheets of glass.

 

Process:

1. Cut thin, clear strips of glass.

2. Elmers glue the strips together.

3. “Tack fuse” as a flat form in kiln.

4. Place over a ceramic mold, and “slump”, creating the curved shape, using low temperature for a long period of time
